Limpopo Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha congratulates General Fanie Masemola on his appointment as the National Police Commissioner. The message of Congratulations and well wishes follows yesterday's announcement by President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa that General Masemola will commence with his new responsibilities today, 01 April 2022.
"We take this rare opportunity to congratulate General Fanie Masemola on his appointment as the National Police Commissioner. General Masemola has worked with us in Limpopo as Provincial Police Commissioner from 2013 to 2016. Under General Masemola’s solid arm of law and order, Limpopo is still enjoying peace and stability since his tenure. We wish him well in his new responsibilities and we are certain that safety and security is guaranteed under General Masemola's collective and consultative leadership style," says Premier Mathabatha.
Premier Mathabatha calls upon the people of Limpopo to support General Masemola by continuing to work closely with SAPS to prevent and fight crime.
