The Premier Cassel Mathale officially launched Mapodile Thusong Service Centre at Mapodile village in the Greater Tubatse Municipality on Saturday, 8th September 2012.
The launch was attended by, Xstrata Management, Provincial Government and Municipality Leadership, Traditional Leaders, Community Members, Dinaka, ST Engenas Zion Christian Church Choir and Brass Band. The province has just recorded another successful opening of Thusong Service Centre in partnership with Xstrata and Greater Tubatse Municipality.
Xstrata made an investment of approximately R10m to build Mapodile Thusong Service Centre to enable people of Mapodile village and the surroundings to access services including birth and death certificates, processing of identity documents, registration of social grants, telecentres and agricultural project management.

Private Business sectors and business people should learn from Xstrata in order to work together with government to improve the livelihood of our people in the Province “said Cassel Mathale.
