Seven bust with R15 million worth of drugs
An intelligence-led operation involving the members of the Johannesburg Organised Crime and the Hawks has resulted in seven suspects being arrested for dealing in drugs.
Police had found a 42kg of Meth, commonly known as Tik, in one of the rooms at a hotel in Sandton. Swift investigation led to the arrest of four Nigerian nationals, one local male and two females. One suspect was found with a further 14kg of Tik in his vehicle.
The total value of the recovered drugs is valued at R15 million. One vehicle was also seized. The suspects, aged between 30 and 51, will appear before the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
