Well-known University of Johannesburg academic, Professor Paul Singh, has joined the staff of Sport and Recreation South Africa as Chief Director of Client Liaison, Facilities and Events.
Professor Singh is well known in research circles and has published numerous articles in various areas of sport. Among other he is the author of a series of articles on risk management in sport.
Portfolios that will fall under Professor Singh include Sport and Recreation South Africa’s participation in international events, federation funding, Sport and Recreation South Africa’s role in sport facilities, as well as club development.
His appointment will commence on 1 February this year.
