Small Business Development Committee Visits KZN, EC and Gauteng
The Portfolio Committee on Small Business Development will this week resume its oversight visits to three provinces, KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and the Eastern Cape.
The Chairperson of the Committee, Ms Ruth Bhengu, said this was a continuation of last year’s programme of the Committee which had to be postponed due to a sitting of the National Assembly. The Committee will, among other things, inspect special projects, township and rural business initiatives, and see whether they are achieving the objectives of contributing to jobs creation as set out in the National Development Plan (NDP).
