127 motorists were arrested by North West Public Safety Traffic Enforcement unit nicknamed Jaws at a roadblock in Mogwase near Sun City for outstanding traffic fines.
The arrests bring to 844 the number motorist arrested since the unit embarked on a province wide special operation to arrests for outstanding fines.
The provincial traffic authorities have recouped over R390 000 in unpaid traffic fines since the special operations began 12 days ago. 491 warrants of arrests were executed around Rustenburg and Mogwase areas while 350 were executed around Mafikeng, Lichtenburg and Zeerust.
