The Department of Home Affairs will no longer be closing its Nyanga Refugee Reception Office today, 30 September 2009. The Cape High Court has granted the department extension of its activities up until 23 October 2009.
The date of the relocation to the new building on 412 Voortrekker Road, Maitland, Cape Town will be announced once a final date of handover between the Department of Home Affairs and the contractors has been agreed upon.
The Department of Home affairs wishes to apologise to all its clients for any inconvenience that this might cause.
