North West Tourism product owners invited to enter for the 2018 Lilizela Tourism Awards
Tourism MEC in the North West Desbo Mohono and Minister Derek Hanekom are calling on Tourism Product Owners to enter for the Lilizela awards. The Lilizela Tourism Awards help to encourage competitiveness and honor excellence amongst tourism businesses.
Entries for the 2018 Lilizela Tourism Awards open on 1 March and will close on the 18th June 2018. These Awards recognize and reward tourism industry players and businesses who work passionately and with pride to offer world class products and services in contributing to growing Tourism in the province and South Africa’s global destination competitiveness.
The Provincial Lilizela Tourism Awards will be held in September, Tourism Month in the province and will be culminated in the National Award ceremony taking place in October where the best of the best will be honoured.
It is imperative to also note that due to the previous learning from the entry process and in our continuous attempt to improve the fairness of the Lilizela process, all Lilizela entries will have to be completed online and no manual entries will be accepted.
