Lobatla and Nyetse communities thrilled with Setsokotsane
Lobatla and Nyetse are two of the many villages in Ramotshere Moilwa Local Municipality that Setsokotsane service delivery drive of Bokone Bophirima Provincial Government visited this week.
Elated community members had this to say about their experience with Setsokotsane: “This has been an exciting day. We have been able to report the damage caused to our houses by recent winds and we are hopeful that we will be assisted,” said 54 year old Moitlamo Pule.
Forty-three year old Kereng Matlhasedi said he was very pleased that the provincial government was serious about its promises to reach each and every corner of the province to interact with communities and deliver the services needed.
Earlier in the week, Premier SOR Mahumapelo and various MECs visited Gopane village to interact with community members and the traditional leadership led by Kgosi Gopane.
Setsokotsane is now headed to Mahikeng Local Municipality, where it will take services to places such as Kaalpan, Vryhof, Kabe, Disaneng, Makgobistad, Makouspan, Nooitgedatcht, Lokaleng, Modimola, Khunotswana, Jagersfontein and Bhurmansdrif, amongst others.
After visiting all local municipalities in Ngaka Modiri Molema, Setsokotsane will move to Bojanala District Municipality.
So far Setsokotsane has been able to take government services to communities in the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality and Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality.
