North West Premier Ms Thandi Modise has noted the arrest of former MEC for Education, Rev. Johannes Tselapedi, Former Superintendent General of the North West Department of Education, Herbert Mathanzima Mweli and suspended Superintendent General Charles Raseala by the Hawks on Tuesday.
The trio was rounded up in coordinated raids conducted at their homes in the early hours of Tuesday.
The Provincial government respects the assumption of innocent until proven guilty and maintains that the matter should not be prejudged or politicised but be left to the competency of the courts.
