North West Legislature’s Joint Committees on Tourism and Treasury to Conduct Oversight visits to Projects in Moses Kotane Municipality
On Friday, 05 June 2015, the North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Tourism and Portfolio Committee on Premier, Treasury and Enterprise Development will conduct oversight visits to various projects and tourism destinations around Moses Kotane Local Municipality.
At 09h00, the Portfolio Committees will visit Mphebatho Cultural Museum, Pilanesburg International Airport and Bakubung Bush Lodge as to ascertain the tourism landscape in the municipality. The Municipal Portfolio Committee on Local Economic Development and the Department of Tourism will attend the oversight visit.
At 14h00, the Committees will visit Madikwe Sisal Project to check the status of affairs and functionality as a government funded project.
Both oversight visits will begin with pre-oversight meetings at Moses Kotane Local Municipality and boardroom of Madikwe Sisal Project.
