Suspended North West Head of Department (HOD), Nic van Staden and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Kweku Odame-Takyi are scheduled to appear before the internal Disciplinary Committee (DC) tomorrow (Monday, 22 February) to each answer to four charges of gross misconduct. The charges are informed by their alleged role in the awarding by the provincial Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport of tenders of various road capital projects without following proper procurement processes.
