North West Exco conveys condolences to MEC Masike

The North West Provincial Executive Council has conveyed its condolences to MEC for Health, Dr Magome Masike whose mother succumbed to long illness in hospital over the past weekend. The 71-year old Jeminah Dikeledi Masike is to be buried in Klerksdorp on Saturday.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with our colleague Dr Masike, his family, relatives and friends during this period of sadness. May they find solace in knowing that the Executive Council collective, public servants across the Provincial Administration, our social partners, stakeholders and communities across the province share their grief as they mourn the loss of a mother who was special,” said Premier Thandi Modise in expressing condolences.

Premier Modise said that the province will forever remain indebted to the courageous Mme Masike for nurturing and raising a humble, selfless leader and servant of the people and for enriching all of our lives through her sacrifices and unfailing love.

The funeral service for Mme Masike is scheduled to start at 8:00 am at the Roman Catholic Church Cathedral Adamayview in Klerksdorp. The cortege will leave for the Klerksdorp cemetery at 10h00.
