Speculation of a cabinet reshuffle is mischievous and aimed at exaggerating and blowing out of proportion interventions aimed at strengthening accountability within the governance structures of the North West Provincial Legislature.
“Whatever interventions that might be considered within the Executive Council at some stage, sustaining stability and uprooting corruption will be of paramount importance,” said Premier Modise in assuring communities and appealing for calm.
Premier Modise said that extensive consultation within the ruling party had preceded ANC Provincial Chairperson Supra Mahumapelo's deployment as the new Speaker of the North West Provincial legislature.
