Honourable Premier Thandi Modise has placed on my department in no uncertain terms, the urgency on the state of roads in our province.
“I am fully aware of the emphasis the Honourable Premier Thandi Modise has placed on addressing the state of roads in our province. The department welcomes the specific focus. We shall accelerate all our efforts on matters of roads in line with the Honourable Premier’s marching orders” said MEC Mahlakeng
The department pledges its unwavering support to strengthening the service delivery arm of the province. “We will do all in our endeavors to find solutions given our challenges on roads, following the strains the department has had in this area, which led to the dismissal of Senior Managers of the Department and the Head of Department’s contract not being renewed.”
