The Minister in The Presidency and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission; Mr Trevor Manuel, MP, supported by fellow Commissioners has today, 9 June 2011, released to the public the NPC's Diagnostic document and elements of the Vision Statement for 2030.
The documents will be available on the National Planning Commission's website www.npconline.co.za at 14h00 on 9 June 2011.
The release of these documents aim to establish a basis for an informed national dialogue among all citizens in order to inform a Vision 2030 and plan to achieve that vision. This public engagement process will run from June to September, with the Planning Commission releasing its vision statement and plan to Cabinet and the country on 11 November 2011.
