The media briefing by Deputy Minister Mashatile scheduled to take place today; 28 January 2010 has been cancelled. The decision to cancell the briefing was taken after the Deputy Minister studied the documents presented to him and identified some technical aspects that required further attention before any pronouncement of name changes could be made.
An announcement will be made as soon as all the technical matters heve been dealt with to the satisfaction of Minister Lulu Xingwana and Deputy Minister Mashatile.
