The Mpumalanga Department of Education request all learners who wrote the 2015 Supplementary examination in February/March this year to collect their statements of results from their schools.
The department further congratulates those who made the mark. These cohort of candidates are allowed to register as part-time candidates for October/November NSC examinations, if they failed to meet the pass requirements. The deadline for registration is the 29 May 2015. Parents and the community leadership are requested to support the learners this time around.
The certificates of those who passed will be released on the 30 June 2015 after the finalisation of remark processes. Those wish to apply for re-mark must pay a prescribed fee and complete the necessary application forms by 14 May 2015.
The certificates for those who didn’t write the supplementary examinations are obtainable from schools form 4 May 2015 and should be collected within a period of six months. Those failed to meet the pass requirements are issued with subject certificates that are also available in schools.
The June/July Senior Certificate examinations meant for the out-of-school youth above 21 years of age and adults who previously failed to satisfy requirements for NSC will be starting on the 1st June to 4 July 2015. The verification of registration status should be done in examination centres where the candidates have registered. Those who are not registered and those without IDs will not be allowed to write these examinations.
