North West Premier, Maureen Modiselle, has condemned the murder of five people who were found dead in a house in Lethabong, near Rustenburg.
“This heinous crime cannot go unpunished. The murderer or murderers must be hunted down and found without delay. They must face the full wrath of our criminal justice system,” said Modiselle.
Modiselle said that she was confident that the police would leave no stone unturned in their efforts to solve this case. The Premier urged the people of Lethabong to remain calm in this hour of pain and sadness. “I call on the community of Lethabong not to take the law into their own hands, but allow the law enforcement agencies to conduct the necessary investigations.”
She urged members of the community to give the police whatever information they may have that would enable the police to bring perpetrators of this heartless brutality to book.
