The Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga would like to thank everyone who participated in the song and prayer for Madiba in schools all over the country.
The Minister also appreciates and acknowledges all the support and efforts from individuals, NGOs, companies, public entities that went all out to clean, paint and renovate our schools. We believe that the Madiba magic and spirit that prevails can be harnessed to make our schools the best places to learn and through such partnerships, it is possible.
The most important thank you goes to the millions of learners who took part in the prayer sessions and the singing of the special birthday song for Madiba across the length and breadth of the county
