Minister Zizi Kodwa welcomes strategic partnership between National Arts Council and Hong Kong Arts Development Council

The Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Mr Zizi Kodwa, welcomes the global strategic partnership that has been entered by the National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC).
 
The NAC states that this partnership will create international market access for South African and Hong Kong artists in the creative disciplines of Music, Visual Arts, Crafts, Dance, Theatre and Literature.
 
Minister Kodwa says, “The strategic partnership between the National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) reaffirms our commitment to deepening international partnerships and engagements to further develop and support the country’s creative arts sector.”
 
Minister Kodwa adds, “The creative arts play an important role in South Africa’s international cultural exchanges, which provide investment and development opportunities. These exchanges further expose the country’s creative arts sector to international markets. I commend the NAC for this breakthrough and give them my support in the endeavour to strengthen the development and promotion of the arts.”
