The Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, Ms Edna Molewa has extended the closing dates for four general notices. The notice of extension was published in Gazette No. 36203 of 21 December 2012.
Written submissions for the following notices must be submitted on or before 22 January 2013:
- Draft regulations on the format of the atmospheric impact report, published in Gazette No. 35883 of 23 November 2012. The notice can be found here.
- Draft notice on the amendment of the national list of activities which result in atmospheric emissions which have or may have a significant detrimental effect on the environment, including health, social conditions, economic conditions, ecological conditions or cultural heritage. The notice was published in Gazette No. 35894 of 23 November 2012. The notice can be found here.
- Draft notice on the declaration of small boilers as controlled emitters, published in Gazette No. 35883 of 23 November 2012. The notice can be found here.
Written submissions to the following notice must be submitted on or before 5 February 2013:
- Draft national dust control regulations, published in Gazette No. 35931 of 7 December 2012. The notice can be found here.
Interested and affected parties are invited to submit written comments to the Minister within 60 days of publication of each of the notices in the Gazette. Comments received after 60 days may not be considered. Written comments or inputs can be delivered by hand, mail, email or telefax transmission.
