Human Settlements Minister Tokyo Sexwale will deliver his budget vote speech on 9 May 2012 at 16h45 in Parliament.
As part of his budget vote activities, Minister Sexwale will visit Phase 3 of the Joe Slovo housing project in Langa Township. The R400 million project consists of 2 639 units and was once a subject of a Constitutional Court battle between government and the residents.
He will visit the project to look at progress made in complying with the Constitutional Court ruling on the matter. He will also hold his pre-budget speech media briefing on site.
