Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele has expressed outrage and disgust at the callous murder of South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) first Deputy President Mr Mthuthuzeli Molefe, who was gunned down near his home at Evaton, south of Johannesburg last night, 4 September 2009.
"We want to express our outrage and disgust at the cold-blooded murder of Mr Mthuthuzeli Molefe. We wish to convey our condolences to his family and relatives as well as SANTACO. Absolutely nothing is more important than a person's life.
"e are working closely with the enforcement agencies, including the intelligence services, to ensure the swift arrest of the perpetrators of this heinous crime. These criminals must face the consequences of their actions in a manner that sends a clear message to others that society will no longer tolerate this type of behaviour," said the Minister.
