Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga has encouraged learners in Grade 10 to 12 to register for winter school. All public schools closed on Friday, however earners should use this school holiday period to study independently, said Minister Motshekga at the official opening of a winter school run by young people in Midrand on Saturday.
I urge all learners to enrol themselves voluntarily at their nearest school support centre, to visit libraries on a regular basis, and use textbooks to revise work done already, in preparation for the next term. This will put you a step ahead as you work hard to excel during the next term, and indeed in the final examinations.
