Statement of the Ministry of Justice and Correctional Services on the appointment of Mr Arthur Fraser as Commissioner of the Department of Correctional Services
Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Advocate Michael Masutha has welcomed the President’s decision to appoint Mr. Arthur Fraser as Commissioner of the Department of Correctional Services.
Mr. Fraser is a seasoned civil servant who has served government over many years. Minister Masutha said: “Besides his competence as a senior civil servant, Mr. Fraser’s experience in several government departments over the years enables him to appreciate the interconnectedness of the work of government.”
Minister Masutha also congratulated Mr. Loyiso Jafta, formally the Special Advisor of Justice and Correctional Services Deputy Minister, Thabang Makwetla, on his appointment as Director General of the Department of State Security.
