Minister Buthelezi encourages all citizens and government employees across the three spheres of government to nominate individual public servants who have demonstrated patriotism, selflessness, dedication, and innovation in their work to improve service delivery for all South Africans.

Nominations close on Friday, 18 October 2024, at the close of business, and will be adjudicated in line with the following award categories:
- Best Front-Line Service Delivery Employee of the Year
- Best Service Delivery Institution/Department
- Best General Worker of the Year
- Best Implemented Project of the Year
- Overall Batho Pele Winner of the Year
This year’s National Batho Pele Service Excellence and Innovation Awards is scheduled to take place on Friday, 29 November 2024. Further information on the awards ceremony will be provided in due course.
