Minister Faith Muthambi addresses World Communication Forum in Davos

The Minister of Communications, Hon. Faith Muthambi is scheduled to attend the World Communication Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The Minister will be one of the panellists speaking about the role of the “Public media service and challenges of the digital arena” in Government and Communications, Development and Regulations.

Minister Muthambi will be participating in the Discussion Panel together with Minister of Communications (Spokesperson of the Government, Kingdom of Morocco), Dr. Hassan Falha, General Manager of the Ministry of Information in Libanon, Nalin Satyakam Kohli, National Executive VP of the Bharatiya Janata Party in India, Dr. Refat Alfaouri, Director General, Arab Administrative Development Organization in Egypt.

The purpose of the forum is the development of communications and the role the media should play in our society and the state in terms of any development and the influence in business and politics. Priorities of new global communications agenda include the recognition that all communications professionals, whether Public Relation or Journalists share responsibility for trustworthy communications to society, to develop and share best practices for trustworthy communications in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations and advertising.
