Transport Minister dissociates herself from bogus facebook page
Transport Minister, Honourable Dipuo Peters has condemned in the strongest terms and dissociated herself completely from claims made by a certain Mr Nicholas Triphati in the United Kingdom or United States who has a facebook page in the name of the Minister.
This Mr Triphati claims to be creating jobs through the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). He goes under the e-mail address: nico3@gmail.com.
Minister Peters has strongly dissociated herself form these claims and has nothing whatsoever to do with this account on Facebook.
The Ministry calls on this Mr. Triphati to desist from abusing the name and reputation of Minister Peters.
Members of the public are also advised not to be duped by such claims. The Ministry is also asking members of the public to do everything at their disposal to verify with the Department of Transport any claims of this nature.
The Ministry wants to emphasise also that the pictures on the Facebook page in question were not obtained legitimately.
