Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Blade Nzimande statement on his contribution to the Solidarity Fund
The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Blade Nzimande confirms this contribution to the Solidarity Fund as announced by President Ramaphosa in April 2020.
The President announced a one-third salary cut for himself, the Deputy President, Ministers, Deputies and Premiers.
Minister Nzimande confirms that he has already paid one-third of his salary for the month of June and July and is now scheduled to pay his last contribution in the 15th August 2020.
Minister Nzimande made the donation through a direct arrangement with his bank.
