The Minister for Public Service and Administration, Mr Richard Baloyi welcomes the newly appointed Deputy Minister for Public Service and Administration, Ms Ayanda Dlodlo to office following the swearing-in ceremony yesterday. Welcoming Ms Dlodlo to the portfolio, Minister Baloyi indicated he is confident that Ms Dlodlo possesses a set of skills, experiences and qualifications which will add value in the advancement of the vision for the portfolio of Public Service and Administration.
"Ms Dlodlo joins the portfolio at a time when we have just signed Delivery Agreement on Outcome 12 for an efficient, effective and development orientated public service. We are therefore confident that the Deputy Minister will be central in how we realign our processes within the public service," Minister Baloyi added.
Ms Dlodlo’s appointment follows her tenure as Parliamentary Counsellor in the Presidency. She has also served as Secretary-General of Umkhonto weSizwe (MK) Military Veterans' Association until her appointment to Parliament after the 2009 national elections.
Ms Dlodlo will take office from Mr Roy Padayachie who has been appointed as the Minister for Communications.
