Minister Motshekga makes presentation to Education World Forum in London

The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga will participate in a ministerial exchange and make a detailed presentation on Reading, Writing, Numerical and Digital Literacy in a South African context to the Education World Forum today.

Minister Motshekga is currently in London attending the World Education Forum where she is sharing best practices together with her counterparts from other countries.

The theme for the 2014 meeting is "Planning for 2015; policy-making catalyst for a decade ahead: measurement, reach and enterprise".

The Forum brings together delegates representing over 75 percent of the world's population including 90 ministers, experts and educational leaders, to share ideas, form collaborative links and discuss education policy.
