The Limpopo provincial government welcomes the detailed report presented by the national Department of Health on the findings of the investigations into the matter of the tragic deaths of four children in the George Masebe Hospital early this year.
The report is a product of sterling work produced by highly esteemed medical professions and it shed light on the intricacies surrounding the matter in question.
The Limpopo provincial government will continue to appreciate diligence and hard work of health and medical professionals who provide quality services to the people, at times, under demanding conditions in the province.
However, those whose action or inaction at the George Masebe Hospital presents lapse of ethical and professional conduct should be dealt with in line with the recommendations of the said report.
Government wishes to extend a word of condolence to the bereaved families and also recommits itself to ensure that people gain access to good service in all the public health care facilities in Limpopo.
