The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga, MP, is deeply saddened by the tragic death of 17 year old Nontsikelelo Nokela, who was a grade 10 pupil at LA Wesi High School in Allanridge, Welkom in the Free State.
The minister states that the loss of a child is a loss to us all and has offered her deepest condolences to the family of Nontsikelelo, during this terrible period as the family comes to terms with the loss of their daughter.
Minister Motshekga offers her thoughts and prayers to the family during this time on behalf of all the officials in the Department of Basic Education.
