On 19 November (Saturday), the province will be celebrating Batho Pele Day to be held at Segolokwane Secondary Sports Ground, Moteti Village, Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality – Sekhukhune District. On this day, the Premier Cassel Mathale will present the provincial citizen’s report to the people of Limpopo.
The objectives of the Batho Pele Day are:
- To report back on citizens about provision of government services and service standards;
- To create awareness about the government services.
- To interact with citizens with the aim of addressing their concerns; and make the complaints mechanisms accessible to citizens during the Batho Pele Day Celebration; and
- To promote access to government services and distribute service delivery report to citizens.
This year’s celebration is held under the theme "Working Together To Improve Quality of Services". Government departments such as SASSA, Home Affairs, Justice and Constitutional Development and SAPS will be rendering services on the day of the event.
