MEC Sebegoe conveys condolences to Mashike family in Bapong

North West MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Paul Sebegoe desires to express his earnest commiseration to the family of Mashike in Bapong village near Brits.

This is following the inauspicious death of Oupa Pogiso Mashike who was hit by a truck during the recent community protests over local mine’s alleged failure to fulfill employment promises.

MEC Sebegoe said that it was really unfortunate that a man had to die under those circumstances. “This is really heartbreaking because we have in the past, urged the people of Bapong to refrain from using violent protests when seeking solutions to address their grumbles”, he said.
