The Gauteng Department of Health and Social Development would like to convey heartfelt condolences to the family of the Head of Dr Fabian and Florence Riberio Rehabilitation Centre, Mr Victor Mamatela who passed away on Sunday afternoon.
The passing away of Mr Mamatela is a tragic loss to the department and the community at large.
“Mr Mamatela was passionate about the protection of rights of the vulnerable groups in our community especially those affected by alcohol and drug abuse. Our prayers are with his family, relatives and colleagues at this time,” said MEC Mekgwe.
