The MEC for Roads and Transport Lehlogonolo Masoga congratulates National Drivers of the Year Award winners
The MEC for Roads and Transport Lehlogonolo Masoga congratulates Titus Maphanga, Johnny Mdebuka and Ambrocious Maselesele from Limpopo province who participated and won during the National driver of the year competition 2014. There were six categories which as the province we participated and received awards in two of the categories. Titus Maphanga obtained position one, Jonny Mdebuka obtained position two in Rigid Four Wheel Truck with trailer, whereas Ambrocious Maselesele obtained position three in Rigid Truck. Titus Maphanga was also named the overall competition winner.
The selection was done in the competition known as “the Best of the best” which was held at Boekenhoutskloof Traffic College north of Pretoria on 4 - 6 March 2014.Both Maphanga and Johnny Mdebuka will now participate and also represent the country in the upcoming International competition at Poland in August 2014.
‘‘The winners of the National driver of the year competition must take pride for representing the Limpopo and making the province proud, we once more congratulate the award winners for their commitment and dedication in road safety programs,“ said Masoga.
