Gauteng Health MEC, Mr Hope Papo would like to convey heartfelt condolences to the family, colleagues and friends of Free State Health MEC, Ms Fezi Ngubentombi who passed on last Saturday following a tragic car accident.
The accident occurred when MEC Ngubentombi was on her way home to Bloemfontein from Qwaqwa where she attended a provincial gathering addressed by President Jacob Zuma.
Condolences also go to the family of Ngubentombi’s VIP Protector, Seargent Bena Motaung who also passed on during this tragic accident. Seargent Tebogo Ngcono and MEC’s daughter Zandi were injured in this accident but are both in a stable condition and are expected to recover fully.
“MEC Ngubentombi is known for her passion and commitment to ensure a better life for all South Africans especially the delivery of quality healthcare in the Free State. She will be missed. May her soul rest in peace,” said MEC Papo.
