North West MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, China Dodovu has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Tshepo Reginald Mongale a Community Development Worker based at Naledi Local Municipality in the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati district.
“Mr Mongale’s death comes at a time when the Province is experiencing a spate of community protests which in some instance, have little to do with lack or poor service delivery but are used by some members of the communities to engage in criminal activities and the department was still hoping that this dedicated public servant will run a mile to ensure that our communities are listened to and served.
We are really saddened by his death and we hope that those who are left behind should continue with the baton on bridging the information gap between government and our communities. MEC Dodovu said.
Meanwhile Tshepo Mongale’s memorial service will be held on the 5th July 2012 at Huhudi Hall in Vryburg at 12h00.
