I wish to express my sadness at the news of the passing of my colleague in Limpopo, MEC Thembi Nwedamutswu.
She inherited a very difficult task on her appointment as MEC for education in that province. In the short time that I knew her, she seemed to be quietly determined to improve education there.
My sincere condolences go to her family, friends, colleagues and the ANC.
