Situation in Letlhabile remains calm
MEC for Local Government and Human Settlements in Bokone Bophirima, Collen Maine remains satisfied about the calm situation in Letlhabile and surrounding areas since yesterday and want to appeal once more to the residents to refrain from destroying public amenities and rather make use of all available channels of communication to voice their concerns with either the municipality, or the provincial government.
As part of the provincial government’s intervention, a community meeting with the residents is scheduled for this coming Sunday, 22 March 2015 at Letlhabile stadium. MEC Maine will explain the type of intervention that will be provided in order to mitigate the water and sanitation crisis in the area.
