Wear your Bafana T-shirt and support our boys as they take on Mali at the quarter-final match scheduled to take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium at 20h30 on Saturday, 2 February 2013.
In true razzmatazz style, the Department of Sports and Recreation in partnership with the KZN province, eThekwini Municipality, Government Communication and Information System (GCIS), Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) and the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), will embark on a Magnificent Friday Campaign to enthuse members of the public and generate support for our national team, Bafana Bafana.

The festivities of the day will start at Durban station where The Minister of Sport and Recreation, Hon. Fikile Mbalula, the Mayor of eThekwini, Cllr James Nxumalo and other dignitaries will adorn their Bafana Bafana shirts, interact with and encourage members of the public to stand behind the team and carry them to the final stages of the 2013 AFCON Tournament.
09h00: The motorcade will then leave from Kingspark Athletics Stadium to Pinetown-Clermont Taxi Rank. It will then move through various areas of the City and end up at Umlazi, Mega City.
14h00: Giveaways and entertainment at Umlazi, Mega City.
The Bafana Bafana Class of 1996, which includes Helman Mkhalele, Jerry Sikhosana, Phil Masinga, Zane Moosa, Edward Motale and KZN based former football stars will be there to encourage and express their pride for our current Bafana Bafana team.
Tickets for the quarter-final match have been sold out and soccer-lovers are encouraged to arrive early at the stadium (at least two hours before kick-off) to ensure that they enjoy the beautiful game from beginning to end.
People who could not get tickets are reminded that the Public Viewing Areas will be open from 19h30 on match day. They are at the following areas: Durban, New Beach; Esikhawini, eSikhawini College; Port Shepstone, eGamalakhe TB Molefe Sports Ground; Pietermaritzburg, Durban University of Technology (Indumiso College).
