The Premier of Limpopo, Mr Chupu Stan Mathabatha has learnt with deep sorrow the passing away of first President of the Republic, President Nelson Mandela last night.
On behalf of my Executive and the people of Limpopo, the Premier said Limpopo is in mourning with the rest of the world. "We cannot start to describe how we feel, our father, the father of the nation has gone to rest, May his soul rest in peace".
He said our part of our soul as a people has been ripped off with his passing on." Mandela denotes our democracy, our freedom. He was the ANC and will remain so, as much as OR Tambo and the rest of the collective were. He was part of the collective, and surely we will dedicate our 2014 General elections to his name, and life. Long live Madiba", says Mathabatha.
