Limpopo Provincial Government postpones events
The Limpopo Provincial Government has cancelled the upcoming events due to the outbreak of COVID-19 Virus. This follows the announcement by President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa declaring a state of disaster as per the Disaster Management Act. In one of the pronouncements, the President prohibited gatherings of more than 100 people to ensure that the spreading of COVID-19 is curbed.
It is in this context that the Provincial Government will no longer host Premier Service Excellence Awards, celebrate the Human Rights Day and any other departmental activities that require more than 100 participants until further notice. We call on the people of Limpopo to work together with the government in an effort to combat this pandemic.
