Limpopo Audit outcomes 2016/17 improves
The Limpopo Provincial Government has today held its EXCO In-House meeting wherein the Auditor-General presented the Audit outcomes for 2016/17 financial year. The Auditor-General has pronounced that the province has improved significantly from the 2015/16 report. According to the report six departments have improved, twelve remain unchanged while three departments have regressed.
The Department of Treasury and Gambling Board received unqualified report with no findings. The following departments and state entities received unqualified reports with findings; Office of the Premier, Legislature, Safety, Social Development, Transport, Corridor Mining Resources, Great North Transport and Venteco. Eight departments (LEDET, Health, Public Works, Sports, Arts and Culture, Agriculture CoGHSTA and LEDA) received qualified reports with findings.
