Matter of wheel-chair bound Nxumalo accused of defrauding Department of Labour’s CF postponed

The matter of Hilson Thembinkosi Nxumalo (37), who is wheel-chair bound, allegedly accused of defrauding the Department of Labour’s Compensation Fund was today postponed by the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court.

Nxumalo is facing a charge of theft. He is now expected to appear on 19 January 2016. Nxumalo of Rondebult near Germiston in Gauteng is out on a bail of R1 000-00. He is alleged to have defrauded the Department of Labour of R56 000.

The Compensation Fund is a public entity under the administration of Department of Labour responsible to cover workers injured during work or who sustain diseases during the course of their occupation.
