Sithembele Tshwete has been appointed Labour Ministry’s Media Liaison Officer (MLO). The appointment becomes effective from 1 March 2015. Tshwete matriculated at Hector Peterson High School in 1987. He subsequently obtained BA: Communications Degree from Fort Hare University.
He also has a Certificate in Industrial Relations obtained from Wits University; a Certificate in Media Management obtained from the AAA School of Advertising, a MA Communication, Media and Public Relations from Leicester University and has undergone various training in various fields with a number of institutions in fields such as public relations; speech writing, media handling skills, writing & editing; project management and stakeholder management among others.
He has also been conferred a number of awards and achievements.
Before joining the Labour Ministry, Tshwete was until recently working as Senior Media Relations Officer for the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.
