Two people from Koster died in a car accident that occurred around 06h50 on the Koster-Rustenburg road on Sunday morning.
It is alleged that a Maroon Ford Telstar overturned after missing a curve. The driver and one passenger died at the scene whilst the other passenger was taken to Koster hospital with serious injuries.
Koster police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
Meanwhile, North West MEC for Public Safety, Howard appeals to motorists to drive slower and observe safe following distance in the wet weather conditions.
MEC Yawa conveys his condolences to the families that have lost their loved ones in the accident and wishes the surviving passenger a speedy recovery.
