Justice department restores justice services to Pongola community

The Department of Justice and Correctional Services calls upon all the parents who were parties to maintenance matters at the now burned Simdlangentsha Magistrate Court to report to the Pongola Magistrate Court with copies of their maintenance documents.

This will assist in the reconstruction of the documents that were destroyed in the fire that engulfed the court building on the evening of Wednesday, 9 July 2014. The department acted swiftly to restore justice services for the Pongola community by procuring computers to ensure efficient services.

The department is confident that the contingency measures put in place will be sufficient to address the service delivery needs of the community so that people get dignified justice services.
